EAI Vision

Our vision is to see the Kingdom of God permeate every sphere of Irish society.

Our vision of the Kingdom of God permeating is that at every turn, in every place, the Kingdom of God would be expressed in some way that people could not help but encounter it. TV debates would include an evangelical voice; politicians would be interested in evangelical input; media would publish evangelical views. Community bodies would have evangelical involvement. Universities would teach courses on biblical values. Art galleries would display the work of evangelical artists. Companies would operate not for profit alone but also for a higher purpose. Evangelical architects would design new buildings and public spaces with Christian values in mind.

Issues such as justice, peace, wholeness, truth, mercy and love would become part of the public debate. Even if the greater population rejected the gospel, at least they would encounter it If such a vision were achieved we expect that the Lord would move. Our deep desire is that many would believe and follow Christ in the Kingdom of God. We see that the role of evangelical Christians is to obey the great commission of Jesus under the sovereign design of God. To see what we are doing to achieve our vision see our initiatives.

Scripture for the day

Bible Gateway's Verse of the Day
A daily word of exultation.
  • Psalm 18:1-2
“[Psalm 18] For the director of music. Of David the servant of the LORD. He sang to the LORD the words of this song when the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said: I love you, LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
